Neva J. Newbery

NEVA J. NEWBERY, age 78 of Otter Lake, passed away on April 11, 2013 at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 1PM Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Mumford – Hudson Funeral Home in Otisville. Burial will take place in Otter Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 11AM to 8PM at the funeral home. Neva was born on April 27, 1934 to Harold and May (Budke) Brown in Millington. She married Lyle Newbery on December 1, 1951. Neva worked at Vessleys in Lapeer until they closed their doors and at that time she stayed home to help run Otter Laker Radiator with her husband. She enjoyed bowling and spending her summers at Loons Point Campground in Cedarville, MI. Surviving is her husband, Lyle; daughters: Sandy (Dennis) Garner and Lynda (Joe) Krapohl; grandchildren: Jodi (Chris) Montague, Dustin (Michelle) Pettit, Heather (Chris) McInerney, Heidi (Jimmie)Owens, and Jeremy Krapohl; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters: Betty (Clete) VanSnepson and Holly Matthews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Nada, Norma and Bonnie; and brothers: Buster and Darry.
