Myrtle Rose Buning

MYRTLE ROSE ALVIRA SCHORER BUNING, age 89 of Clio, formerly of Davisburg, died Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility. Funeral services will be 11AM Tuesday, July 24, 2012, with Rev. Bruce Malicoat officiating. Visitation will be Monday, July 23, 2012 from 1-8PM at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Crestwood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the family. Myrtle was born March 30, 1923 to William Schorer and Agnes Voelker. Myrtle married Robert Buning on June 3, 1944 in Winnetka, IL. She worked as a cook at Holly High School for 25 years and was a member of West Forest United Methodist Church. Surviving are her four children, nine grandchildren, twenty-two great- grandchildren (with one on the way), two great-great-grandchildren, two step- great - grandchildren, one brother, and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, one brother, and five sisters.
