Michael Zink

MICHAEL ZINK, age 78, died Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Ascension St. Mary's of Saginaw. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. His memorial service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Columbiaville United Methodist Church, 4696 Pine St., Columbiaville, MI 48421, with Pastor Phil Tousley officiating. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 4-7PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Millington Lions Club, 9140 Vassar Rd., Millington, MI 48746. Mike married Kay Harry, his wife of 59 years, on March 10, 1962. He was a member of the Millington Lions Club, Millington Sports Boosters, Willow Springs Country Club, AAA Traveling baseball/softball league, Mike was a lifetime member of the Richville Conversation Club, and was a lifetime member of the NRA. He also attended Columbiaville United Methodist Church. Mike was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and retired from Fisher Body skilled trades. He is survived by his wife, Kay Zink; children: Mark (Kathy) Zink, Michael (Suzanne) Zink and Jill (Jerry) Willson; grandchildren: Michael F. (Anna) Zink, Raeanna (Rob) Taylor, Johnathan Zink, Chase Zink, Luke (Emily) Schmalzried, Jeri Lynn Zink, Matthew Hollenbaugh, and Jordan Hollenbaugh; great grandchildren: Amelia, Mason, Lael, Isaac, and Aleigha; siblings: Patsy Mercer, Betty Valentine, Richard Zink, and David Zink; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis (Linda) Harry; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forest and Helen Zink; sister, Sally Chatters; and brothers-in-law: Gene Chatters and Kenton Valentine.
