Mervin Short

Mervin H. Short, age 84 of Beaverton, formerly of Otisville, died on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Medilodge of Montrose. His funeral service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 4PM-8PM at the funeral home . Mervin was born in Saginaw, MI on December 23, 1938 to Harold and Beatrice Short. He enjoyed working on cars, going up north, playing dominos, and most of all, spoiling his cats. Mervin retired from Buick. He is survived by his daughters: Lynda Short and Tina (Kevin) Crawley; grandchildren: Kevin, Jr. and Paula; three great grandchildren; and sisters: Carolyn Kish and Diana (Chuck) Wendling; and sister-in-law, Ginny Short.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann; brothers: Marcus and Edward; his brother-in-law Tom Kish; and his parents.
