Melvyn D. Ireland age 68 of Otisville died Saturday, December 2, 2006 at Brian's House of Bay City. Funeral service will be held at 11: 00 AM Wednesday December 6, 2006 at Hudson Funeral Service, Pastor Eldon Busenitz officiating. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10 AM – 9 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Brian's House. Melvyn was born on July 14, 1938 in Flint Michigan the son of Douglas Ireland and Geneva Boakes. He was a member of the Mt. Morris Community Church, UAW 625 and loved to fish. Melvyn retired from GM plant "38" after 44 years of service. Surviving are son: Robert Scott (Roseann) Ireland; daughter: Nicole Gusha. grandchildren: Taiylor and Alexandria; brother: Dennis (Judy) Boakes; sister: Patricia (Dean) Latreille; Step-Father: Delbert Boakes. He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Ireland; mother: Geneva; father: Douglas, and step-mother Winifred Ireland
