MARYLYNN STIMSON, age 64 of Fenton, formerly of Otisville, was greeted by God and all her loved ones that preceded her in death on December 25, 2021. Her memorial service will be held at 3PM on Sunday, January 9, 2021 at the Otisville United Methodist Church, 200 W. Main St., Otisville, MI 48463, with Pastor Pat England officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Sunday, from Noon until the time of her service at 3PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Otisville United Methodist Church or the Otisville Area Historical Society that she dedicated service to. MaryLynn was passionate and steadfast in her morals and beliefs: "God is in everything." She did not judge us for our flaws, but she loved us for who we are. Her loves in life were her family, friends, pets, and playing her 12-string guitar. She also enjoyed learning about the history of her family, Otisville, and Michigan. MaryLynn's passion for music led her to join, Mid-Michigan Song Circle, where she made memorable experiences and friendships.

MaryLynn was a graduate of LakeVille Memorial High School. She received her Bachelors in Education through studies at Aberystwyth University in Wales and Albion College. She went on to obtain her Master of Arts in educational systems and development from MSU. She taught English and Psychology at LakeVille Memorial and Greely Public High Schools. Following many years working for Classification and Flotation Systems, Inc., she retired. MaryLynn is survived by her sister, Juli Suuppi; best friend, Cathy Krampe; companion dog, Alley Stimson; nieces and nephews: Jody (Mike) Radon, Wayne (Leslie) Clason, Crystal Suuppi, and Buzz (Sarah) Suuppi; great nieces and nephews: Michael Radon, Aubree, Graisen, Lily, Hayden, Sophia, Henry, Beckham, Paxton and many other beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, LaVerne and Suzanne (Beckwith) Stimson; Uncle Gary Beckwith and Uncle Bob Price; and other loved ones.
