MARYLIN B. UPPER, age 88 of Otisville, died Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Otisville, with Pastor David Hensler officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 1-5PM and 6-8PM on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the funeral home and on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 10AM until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 450 Wilson Rd., Otisville, MI 48463. Marylin was born on November 24, 1929 in Flint, Michigan. She was the daughter of Max and Martha (Mueller) Schreiner. She married Donald E. Upper on October 13, 1951 in Flint, Michigan. Marylin was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church. She enjoyed knitting, reading, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children: Nancy (Norm) Wilson, Julie (Steve) Calkins, and Laura Blue; grandchildren: Brian (Kelli) Wilson, Scott (Corinne) Wilson, Stacie (Pat) Breen, Kelly Calkins and Eric Peden, Kara, Josh, and Shannon Blue; and great-grandchildren: Kylie, Kaden, Callum, Mason, Harper, Addison, Levi, Kam, and Jaxson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; parents; and siblings: George and Helen Schreiner and Margarete Wells.
