Marsha L. Loree

MARSHA LOREE, age 74 of Genesee, died Thursday, April 1, 2021 at her residence. A private family funeral service will be held, with burial to follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday, April 5, 2021 and Tuesday April 6, 2021 from 11AM-8PM at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity, and distancing guidelines must be practiced. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Marsha was born in Flint, Michigan on June 2, 1946 to Don and Helen Sexton. She retired from General Motors in 2003. Marsha enjoyed knitting, crocheting, fishing, camping, traveling up north in Michigan and down south to Florida. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Marsha is survived by her husband of 57 years, Will; children: Todd (Christine) Loree, Kimberly (Dale Minton) Loree, and Christopher (Susan) Loree; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and siblings: Donna (Don) Barnett, Carol Sexton, Don Sexton, Trudy (Kent) Fanson, and Tami (Greg) Simon. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Chelsea; sister, Deborah; and parents.
