Marjorie A. Ruby

MARJORIE A. RUBY, age 75, of Otter Lake died Monday March 5, 2007 at Lapeer Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will be held 1 PM Friday, March 9, 2007 at Hudson Funeral Service, Inc., Otisville. Rev. Jim James will be officiating. Burial will take place at Otter Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 3-9 PM and Thursday 10-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brian's House or American Cancer Society. Marjorie was born on November 8, 1931 to Harry and Jessie (Lehman) Heddon. She married Elvin Ruby on August 5, 1950 in Lapeer, MI. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary 504. She loved doing crossword puzzles and going on trips with her friends. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and family. Surviving is her Husband: Elvin Ruby; Children: Kathleen M. Ruby (Lisa Huttenbach), Denise R. (Terry) Short, Laura K. (Gene) Petherbridge, Mark A. Ruby (Michele Sprung); Grandchildren: David M. Short, Timothy J. Short, Elizabeth D. Short, Heather Sprung; Great-Grandchildren: Deztiny A. Short, Timothy J. Short, Jr., Kaitlyn J. Short; Brothers: Bernard Heddon, Gerald Heddon; Sister: Madeline McArthur; Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two children: Timothy and Krystal, parents, sisters: Frances Odglen and Mary Newberry; and brother: Donald Heddon.
She was loved and will be missed by many.
