Marjorie (Baker) Briggs

MARJORIE (BAKER) BRIGGS, age 91 of Otter Lake, died Monday, December 31, 2012 at McLaren-Lapeer. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Otisville, with Pastor David Weiss officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Suncrest. Marjorie was born on August 22, 1921 to Charles and Lettie (Marker) Pratt. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Otter Lake. Marjorie enjoyed doing ceramics, bowling, shopping, listening to music, and going out to dinner with her family. She is survived by her son, Rick (Brenda) Baker; grandsons: Lonnie (Sue) Jenkins, Leslie (Eleanor) Jenkins, and Michael (Ruthie) Jenkins; great-grandsons: Arron Jenkins, Lance Jenkins, and J.R. Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her three husbands, daughter: Raburta "Spike" Jenkins, parents, brothers and sisters.
