Marilyn J. Zubke

MARILYN J. ZUBKE, age 66 of Burton, died peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at McLaren Hospital in Flint, surrounded by her family. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will receive visitors at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 5-8PM. Marilyn was born in Flint, MI on August 11, 1949 to Duane and Jean Gunter. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and making quilts and afghans for Hurley Kids. She loved children and was proud to be a foster parent to many children. Marilyn also liked going to the casino, playing Bingo, and catching more fish than everyone else. She is survived by her husband, Bob; son, Rob (Missy) Zubke; daughter, Karina (Patrick) Stause; and grandchildren: Cody, Shane, and Allison. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Gunter; and sister, Deborah Logan.
