Marilyn Lee Riley

Marilyn Lee Riley, age 88 of Millington, died Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Cranberry Assisted Living. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 1PM on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at West Forest Methodist Church, with Pastor Hal Phillips officiating. The family will receive visitors at West Forest Methodist Church from 11AM until the time of her service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to West Forest Methodist Church, 7297 Farrand Rd., Millington, MI 48746.

Marilyn was born on August 4, 1936 to Leo and Leona Torrey. She married Roland Riley on July 9, 1955 at the Otisville Church. They enjoyed 60 wonderful years of marriage before Roland's death in 2015. Marilyn was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, teacher, and physical therapy aid at Frankenmuth Lutheran Nursing Home.

Marilyn is survived by her children: Sheryl Johnson, Steven (Dora) Riley, and Susan (Raly) Cooper; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; sisters: Darlene (Gary) Lynch and Sharon Alexander; and brothers-in-law: Ronald (Judy) Riley and Gary (Linda) Riley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland; sister, Millicent; granddaughter, Kayla; and son-in-law, Kevin Johnson.
