Margaret Ida Wheaton

Margaret Ida Wheaton age 83 of St Helen, Michigan died Saturday September 12, 2009 at her residence. Funeral service will be held 1PM Thursday September 17, 2009 at Hudson Funeral Service Inc., Otisville, Pastor Renee Dietrich officiating. Burial will be in Watertown Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 2 PM – 6 PM Wednesday 11 AM – 6 PM at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to St Helen Helping Hands. She was born in Flint MI on August 1, 1926 to James and Julie Brooks. Margaret was married to Gerald Wheaton for 63 years. Margaret was a member of Helping Hands, American Legion. She retired from Vesley's.
She is survived by her husband Gerald; sons: Michael (Elaine) Wheaton, Steve (Rose) Wheaton, Terry (Lorraine) Wheaton, Robert (Charlene) Wheaton and Gary (Brenda) Wheaton; daughters: Dianne (Roger) Jones and Debra (Rick) Ballard; 25 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; sisters: Jean Newman and Pat Wheaton; brother: Bob Brooks. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Ernie Brooks, sister: Esther Millinger, and grandson: Robert Wheaton
