Marcia Joan Jones

Marcia J. Jones, age 66 of Otisville, died Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009 at University of Colorado Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Her funeral service will be at 11AM Wednesday, September 16th at Hudson Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday Sept. 14, from 4-8PM and Tuesday Sept. 15, from 12 Noon to 8PM. Marcia was born in Otisville, MI on July 8th, 1943 to Wesley and Doris ( Phipps ) Price. She was a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. Hobbies included cross stitch, sewing, and ceramic doll fabrication. She was a registered nurse of 32 years and had worked in several Denver area hospitals before becoming a study monitor for FDA drug trials. She was hospitalized in 2004 following a crippling surgical error during a routine surgical procedure and had never fully recovered. Surviving her are two sisters: Dianne (Jim) Humphrey, Kathy (Dan) Priest; three children; Kimberlee (Doug) VanHoose, Matthew (Renee) Hillier, Tracy Condie, and Julie (Mark) Cowles; and six grandchildren; Jessica VanHoose, Jordan VanHoose, Wesley Condie, Jonas Cowles, Jaren VanHoose, and Inara Cowles.
