Luke W. Parker

LUKE WILSON PARKER, age 93 of Springfield, TN, formerly of Michigan, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Vanco Manor in Goodlettsville, TN. His funeral service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home in Otisville, MI. Burial will follow in Millington Twp. cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Camp Cavell, 3335 Lakeshore Rd., Lexington, MI 48450. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 3-7PM and on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 11AM until the time of his service. Luke was born on March 4, 1929, in Greenbrier, TN to Tom and Georgia Pittman Parker. He was a member of Otisville Church of Christ and attended Center Point Baptist Church in TN. Luke enjoyed reading his Bible, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. He was a mechanic for several years before retiring. Luke is survived by his children: Dennis (Faye) Parker of Springfield, TN, Joseph (Sue) Parker of Otter Lake, MI, Melody (Boyce) Barger of Millington, MI, and Mary (Kenneth) Skoglund of Sweden; grandchildren: David Parker, Phillip Barger, Saryna Parker, Cynthia Morgan, Sarah Barger, Andrew Parker, Georgia Sisk, and Joanna Skoglund; and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Carney Parker; brothers: James and Lloyd Parker; and his parents
