Lloyd O. Carter

LLOYD O. CARTER age 76 of Millington died Friday, November 3, 2006 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Pontiac. Funeral service will be 11 AM Wednesday November 8, 2006 at Hudson Funeral Service, Rev. Wayne Bennett officiating. Burial will be at Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6-9 PM and Tuesday 10AM – 2 PM and 5 – 9 PM. Contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 1421 E. 12 Mile Rd. Madison Heights, MI 48071. He married Peggy White July 30, 1950 in Kennett, MO. Lloyd was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a supervisor from G.M. in 1983. Survivors are his wife: Peggy J. Carter; 2 sons: Robert D. (Diane) Carter and Gregory O. (Sue) Carter; Daughter: Leah C. (Ken) Beal; 8 grandchildren: Stephanie Coppola, Melissa Carter, Megan Stitzel, Jill Waldecker, Andrew Beal, Benjamin Carter, Katy Carter, and Robbie Carter; 3 great grandchildren: Sydney, Samantha and Ava Marie; 4 sisters: Della Mitchell, Doris Taulbee, Mary Williams and Lois Wolfe; Brother: Tolbert H. Carter, Jr.; Preceded in death by daughter Cheryl L. Waldecker, grandson Nicholas Beal and brother James Carter.
