Lester Howell

LESTER HOWELL, age 85 of Millington, died Friday, April 13, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center. His Funeral service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 11AM until 8PM at the funeral home. Lester was born in Flint on October 28, 1932 to Frank and Elen Howell. Lester was a big jokester and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, fishing, going to rummage sales, playing solitaire on his computer, and buying motorcycles. He is survived by his wife, Janice; children: Wanda (Mike) Metro, Floyd Edwards, Glenda Siy, Brenda Krueger, Korena Lasko, Lisa Eisinger, and Joshua Holt.; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren with one on the way, and one great-great-grandchild with one on the way; siblings: Ellen, Mattie, Edna, and Darwin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two children: Lester, Jr. and Michelle; first wife, Dorothy Howell; 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
