Leray Vanamburg

LeRay VanAmburg age 64 of Otter Lake died Monday, January 15, 2007 at Lapeer Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday January 19, 2007 at the Richfield Church of the Nazarene, Rev. Michael Morris and Rev. Clarence Morehouse officiating. Burial will be in Otter Lake Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday 10:00AM-9:00 PM at the Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville and at the church Friday 9:30 until time of service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Otter Lake Fire Department or the charity of your choice. He was born April 1, 1942 in Flint Michigan the son of Rev. Joseph W. and Dorothy VanAmburg. He married Nancy Norton on January 16, 1965 in Otter Lake, MI. LeRay was a member of the Otter Lake Fire Department for 47 years. He was a member of the Richfield Church of the Nazarene. Worked for the LakeVille Schools for 27 ¾ years as a custodian. Surviving are his wife: Nancy; 2 sons: Raymond (Carla) VanAmburg and David (Colleen) VanAmburg; Grandchildren: Sarah, Megan, Joseph, Rachel and Brianna
