LEORA F. THOMPSON, age 73 of Otisville, died Monday, February 15, 2016 at Medilodge of Montrose. Her funeral service will be held at 2PM on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Cremation will take place after the service. The family will receive visitors on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the funeral home from 10AM until the service time. Leora was born on November 28, 1942 to Edward and Thelma Coates. In 1967, she married George Thompson in Flint, Michigan. She enjoyed going to rummage sales and collecting antiques and she will be missed dearly by us all. Surviving is her son, Blane Thompson; grandchildren: Kama, Jadon, Gracie, Caylin, Floyd and Tory; several great-grandchildren; sisters: Carol Sue Taylor, Kathryn (Walt)Girard, Geraldine (Dennis) Dougherty, and Diane (George) Fries; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat. She was preceded in death by her husband George; son, Dennis Holmes; and her parents.
