Leonard L. Risdon

LEONARD L. RISDON of Otisville, age 90, died Monday, February 7, 2011 at Millington.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday February 11, 2011 at Millington United Methodist Church, Pastor Pete Crawford officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 3-8 PM, Thursday 11-1 and 3-8 PM. An Eastern Star Service will be held at 7 PM Thursday and a Masonic Service will be held at 7:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Millington United Methodist Church. Leonard was a member of the Millington United Methodist Church, Otisville Masonic Lodge #401 F&AM, Nourmahal Chapter #282 OES, Millington-Arbela Historical Society, U.A.W. Local #659, Davison American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a mason contractor for many years, building many homes in the Flushing area. He had hobbies of farming, fishing and sitting in the sun. Surviving are son-in-law: Gene Koski; 6 grandchildren: Charles (Michelle) Koski, Robb Koski, Christina (Jerry) Terry, Jeremy (Amanda) Risdon, Jeffery (Kimberly) Risdon, Samantha Risdon; great-grandchildren: Kirstan Craig, Olivia Craig, Ninah Risdon, Jaxon Risdon, Robert Terry; brothers: Norman Risdon of California, Charles (Dee) Risdon Jr. of Lapeer; sisters: Martha Weeks of Manistique, Cuma (Roger) Wickerd of California, Leta Heiser of Lapeer, Joyce (Keith) Gnirs of Interlochen and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred, daughter Janice Koski, and son Daniel.
