Leland E. Howell

LELAND E. HOWELL, age 80 of Otisville, died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at McLaren-Lapeer. His funeral service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the Mumford Hudson Funeral Home, with Pastor Tom Forgo officiating. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 11AM-8PM on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Fund.
Leland was born in Flint, MI on September 19, 1934, the son of Frank and Elen (Cameron) Howell. He retired from A.C. and enjoyed making wooden model ships. Leland liked to go to car and tractor shows and enjoyed bowling and trains. Surviving is his wife, Kathy; children: Carol (Richard) Moore, Blaine Howell, Sr., David Howell, Kathleen (Chris) Henderson, and Kristine (Tony) Snyder; grandchildren: Blaine, Jr., Joseph, Andrew, Paul, Audrey, Dan, Todd, Lanny, and Joshua; many great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters: Ellen, Lester, Maddie, Edna, and Darwin. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Geneane, in 1976; parents; four brothers and two sisters.
