Lawrence Errol Decker

LAWRENCE E. DECKER, age 74 of Millington, died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 14046 N. Saginaw Rd., Clio, MI 48420. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 10AM until the time of the service. The family is requesting no live flowers. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. Larry was born on August 29, 1943 to William Benjamin Decker and Rose Anne Betz. He married Lucy Hosea on January 18, 1976. Larry worked as a welder for Millington Truck Body and later as a carpenter for Penninsular Slate. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and the Millington Tri-Twp. Horseshoe League for 40 years. He also enjoyed gardening, going for walks, exploring nature and animals, and going fishing. Larry is survived by his wife, Lucy Marie Hosea Decker; daughter, Laura Marie Decker Haffie and husband Cody Michael Haffie; grandchildren: Tie, Alexis, and Chloe; siblings: Bill, Mike, Robin, April, Heather, and Marlene. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lucinda Anne Decker; parents William and Rose Decker; and siblings: Catherine and Dave.
