Laverne Ralph Stimson

LAVERNE RALPH STIMSON, age74 of Otisville died Friday, December 14, 2007 at his residence. Memorial service will be 11 AM Monday, December 17, 2007 at the Otisville United Methodist Church in Otisville, MI. Rev. Carter Garrigues-Cortelyou will be officiating. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be Sunday 11 AM to 8PM at the Hudson Funeral Service Inc. Otisville. Contributions may be made to the Otisville United Methodist Church. Laverne was born in Otisville on January 15, 1933 to Averill and Teresa (Merrill) Stimson. Laverne married Suzanne Beckwith on August 16, 1962 in Otisville. He retired in 1987 from AC Spark Plug after 36 years. Laverne was a member of the Otisville United Methodist Church, he was a U.S.Jaycee Senator, former member of Otisville Village zoning board. Surviving: are his wife Sue, daughters: Juli (Buzz) Suuppi of Otisville and Mary Lynn Stimson of Linden. Grandchildren Jody, Michael Radon, Wayne Clason(Ashley), Crystal Suuppi, Buzz and Sarah Suuppi. Great grand child Michael Radon. Sisters Elaine Banyas and Lois (Bob)Price.
