LAURENE M. COE age 87, formerly of Otter Lake, Midland and Punta Gorda, FL. died Friday February 9, 2007 at Spectrum Health United Memorial, Lakeview, MI. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday February 13, 2007 at the Hudson Funeral Service, Inc., Otisville, Rev. Jim James officiating. Burial will be in Otter Lake Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday 2 – 9 PM and Monday Noon – 9 PM. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or a charity of ones choice. She was born Dec. 26, 1919 in Watertown Twp. Laurene was the daughter of William and Marian (Freeland) Jewell. She married Dalton Coe August 7, 1937 at Angola, IN. He preceded her in death Nov. 15, 1986. She was a member of the Otisville Nourmahal Chapter of O.E.S. # 282. and retired as an Executive Secretary for Dow Chemical Co. Surviving are her children: Cheryl (Dennis) Knight of Arcadia, FL., Dalton P. (Louise) Coe of Sebewaing, MI. and Candace (Larry) Powell of Mt. Pleasant, MI.; 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren; a sister: Lucille Roth of TX. She was preceded in death by her husband Dalton, daughter Charlene Cutro, grandson Chris Cutro, parents, and 2 brothers Kenneth and Keith Jewell.
