Kurt Michael Salzano

Kurt M. Salzano, age 68 of Ortonville, MI, died on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at his residence. His memorial service will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the family.

Kurt was born in Royal Oak, MI on May 18, 1955, the son of Michael and Alice Salzano. He married Lorna Simonds on August 16, 1975 in Clarkson, MI at Dixie Baptist Church. Kurt served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Davison, MI. He enjoyed spending his time golfing, fishing, hunting, gardening, hiking, biking, mushroom hunting, and napping. Kurt's favorite activity was playing with his grandkids. His family brought so much joy to his life.

Kurt is survived by his wife, Lorna Salzano; children: Wendi (Derek) Wood, Joshua (Jaimie) Salzano, Justin (Kristen) Salzano, Bryan (Kimberly) Salzano, and Michael (Nichole) Salzano; grandchildren: Annabelle, Riley, Olivia, Alexander, Hunter, Greyson, Brady, Evelynn, Everett, and Juliette; and siblings: Mark Salzano and Jill Dotzenko. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kim Salzano; and father and mother- in-law, Thomas and Louise Simonds.
