Kenneth "Jerry" Swart

KENNETH "JERRY" SWART, age 86, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 at his residence surrounded by loved ones. The family will receive visitors from 2-8PM on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice, 1515 Cal Dr., Davison, MI 48423. Kenneth was born on July 31, 1935 in Otter Lake, MI to Kenneth and Albertina Swart. He married Helen Riley on August 4, 1956. He retired from General Motors after 44 years. Kenneth enjoyed umpiring, fishing, watching Tiger baseball, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his daughters: Michelle (Mike) Barnard and Ann (Todd) Tiffany; son, Steve (Carol) Swart; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 more great grandchildren expected in early 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; daughter, Jill Brazeal; and a great grandson.
