KEN R. RUSSEL, age 48 of Burton, formerly of Otisville, died Thursday, July 25, 2019 at McLaren-Flint. His funeral service will be held at 3PM on Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Davison Twp. Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 10AM until the time of his service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Ken was born in Flint on February 26, 1971 to Kenneth and Wilma Russell. Ken worked for Michigan Drywall for several years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking on the grill, riding his 1,000cc copper four-wheeler, playing Farm Simulator 19 on his PS4, and going up north to Atlanta, MI. He also liked to spoil his fur-babies: Gabbie, Gracie, Grretta, and EllieMae. Ken is survived by the love of his life, Barbie; daughter, Hanna James; granddaughters: Twila and Chloe; siblings: Chris (Ralph) Templeton, Shawn Wehrman, Shelly Upchurch, Valorie Kinne, Marie Shipperley, and Leilani Steavens; brother-in-law, David (Joanne) McCann; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Jacob; sister, Dawn; and his parents. Ken and his family would like you to consider organ donation you never know who's life you could save.
