Keith E. Cregar, age 78 of Mt. Morris, died on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Cranberry Park in Clio. His funeral service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the United in Christ United Methodist Church, 11394 N. Center Rd., Clio, MI 48420, with Pastor Ryan Walker officiating. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 3-8PM at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home in Otisville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Otisville Lions Club, PO Box 343, Otisville, MI 48463 or to the United in Christ United Methodist Church, 11394 N. Center Rd., Clio, MI 48420.
Keith was born in Flint, MI on April 19, 1946 to Harry W. and Augusta Cregar. He was a member of the Otisville Lions Club, where he held many offices, and also served as the District Governor for the Lions Club. He was also a member of the Otisville American Legion and the Otisville Little League. Keith enjoyed working as an athletic official for high school and youth sports. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, traveling and spending time outdoors. The last few years, Keith enjoyed watching sports on tv, especially the Detroit Tigers. Keith married Linda Scott on October 23, 1965 and he proudly served his country in the US Army. He later worked as a pipe fitter for General Motors.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; children: Kim (Pastor) Rendon, Sheryl (Troy) Woolley, and Scott (Melissa) Cregar; grandchildren: Eric (Julia) Woolley, Leslie (Brent) Leonhardt, Kyle Cregar, Andres Rendon, Adrian Rendon, and Leigh Ann Woolley; great grandson, Owen; sisters: Doris Lutze, Sharon Pyles, and Roxanne (Randy)Brown; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his siblings: Harry L., Barbara, and Shirley; and his parents.
