Kay A. Penney

KAY A. PENNEY, age 82 of Otisville, died December 13, 2021 at The Pines of Burton. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 5PM on Friday January 28, 2022 at the Otisville United Methodist Church 200 W. Main St. Otisville MI 48463.  The family will receive visitors on Friday from 3 until the time of her service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Waterbrook Christian Academy, 6100 Richfield Rd., Flint, MI. 48506 or Forest Township Senior Center, 130 E. Main St., Otisville, MI 48463. Kay was born on January 17, 1939 in Millington, MI to J.H. and Lucille Barden. She was a member of the Otisville United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing and farming. Kay was known as the "team mom." She always enjoyed going to and watching her children's and grandchildren's sporting events. She was known for always having a good time. Kay is survived by her children: Nancy (Andriea Unsel) Penney, Ann (Dale) Rosenbum, Dawn (Bob) Vito, and Scott (Nadia) Penney; grandchildren: Aaron, Amelia, Erika, Loren, Emily, Hannah, and Cameron; and great grandchildren: Arnold, Annabelle, Kaysen, and Ava; special granddaughter Katy Schmidt.
