Judith Anne Satkowiak

Judith Anne Satkowiak, age 80 of Otisville, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at her home. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Otisville, with Father Ken Coughlin officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 3-8PM on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home with a rosary at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Forest Township Senior Center, 130 Main Street, Otisville, MI 48463.

Judy was born on April 21, 1940 in Otisville to the late William and Dorothy Barden. She graduated from LakeVille High School and pursued a career in nursing. Judy was a faithful member of St. Francis Catholic Church. She worked as a nurse in Lapeer and Otisville. She was an active member of the Jaycettes, Red Hat Club, and enjoyed participating in events at the Senior Center. She loved gardening, going to the beach, camping, and spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Sunny-girl.

Judy is survived by her three sons: James (Mary) Satkowiak, Jon (Annette) Satkowiak, and Joel (Katrina) Satkowiak; grandchildren: Joshua Satkowiak, Andrew (Alex) Satkowiak, Jon (Ashley) Satkowiak, Jr., Christie (Eric) Burrows, Nicole Satkowiak, Jessica Satkowiak, and Sarra Satkowiak; great grandchildren: Sophie, Sam, Sadie, Brody, Bryce, and Brinley; brothers: Tom (Cindy) Barden and Dan (Kathy) Barden; aunt: Arlene Davies of Pennsylvania; niece: Shelley (Chris) Fike of Arizona; nephews: David (Kelly) Barden and Danny(Jenny) Barden; many cousins, friends; and companion and special friend, Arlis L. Randall of Fruitport. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, James Satkowiak and nephew, Billy Barden.
