Juanita Griswold

JUANITA GRISWOLD, daughter of Loren and Velma Kleier, was born December 21, 1936 in Seymour, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, January 17, 2017, in Brookdale Assisted Living in Grand Blanc at the age of 80. A memorial service will be held at the Otisville United Methodist Church, 200 West Main St., Otisville, MI 48463 on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 5PM. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 3PM until the time of service.In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Juanita Griswold scholarship fund. Juanita was born and raised in Seymour, Missouri. She graduated college from Southwest Missouri State (Missouri State) and obtained her Masters at the University of Michigan, where she remained an avid fan to the end. She spent her career working as a public school educator and counselor. In her spare time, she enjoyed making people feel beautiful and glamorous. Juanita was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children: Mark (Calinda) Griswold of Medina,Tennessee; Michelle (Skip) McQueen of Davison, Michigan; Matthew Griswold of Rochester, Michigan; Susan (Chet) Folger of Boca Raton, Florida; and Jean (Bob) Keller of Davison, Michigan; grandchildren: Matthew (Sarah) Folger, Lauren (Frits) Sweeting, Andrew Keller, Chris Keller, Tyler Griswold, Trevor Griswold, Keagan McQueen, Tori Griswold, and Kali McQueen; and great grandchildren: Adeline Folger and Helena Sweeting. She was preceded in death by her parents.
