Joyce E. Herner

JOYCE E. HERNER, age 86 of Otisville, died Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Wellspring Lutheran Home in Frankenmuth. Her funeral service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. S. Alan Duce officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 11AM– 8PM at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Richfield Church of the Nazarene or Wellspring Lutheran Services. Joyce was born on November 17, 1926 to Arthur and Faye (Honey) Betts. She married Robert Herner on August 18, 1951. Joyce was a member of Richfield Church of the Nazarene and was a Boy Scout and Girl Scout Leader. She also enjoyed going for car rides. Surviving are her children: Debra (Jamie) Baldwin, Michael (Linda) Herner, and Carol (Mark) Stewart; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Everett (Pat) Betts; several brother and sister-in-laws; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents; brother, Art Betts; and sisters: Eva Betts and Betty Harrington.
