JOHN SLAVIK of Otisville, formerly of Ovid and Ann Arbor died Wednesday, October 5, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 11: 00 AM Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville, Pastor Tom Vargo officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 6-9 PM and Friday 2-4, 6-9PM. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be mane to D.A.V of Ann Arbor or Otisville Assembily of God. John married Helen Brown on February 17, 2006. He was a WWII Veteran, a member of D.A.V., Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local #190 of Ann Arbor and Otisville Assembly of God. He worked as a Master Plumber in the Ann Arbor area. He is survived by his wife Helen; son: Frank George (Eva) Slavik; daughters: Kay (Ken) Long and Gail (Kees) Slavik; grandchildren: Matthew, Peter, Stephanie, Jessica, Tyler, Kyle and Joel; step-children: Robert (Sue) Brown, Michael (Connie) Brown and Kim (Bill) Fletcher; step-grandchildren: Kelly, Crystal, Corrie and Rebecca; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
