JOHN ANDREW MORRISH Sr., age 72 of Columbiaville passed from his earthly realm to his spiritual home on Saturday April 15, 2006 at Briarwood Nursing Home, Flint. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday April 21, 2006 at the Hudson Funeral Service, Inc., Otisville, Mr. Michael Hall officiating with inurnment at Flint Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be 11 AM to 9PM Thursday. Contributions may be made to the family. John was born on April 18, 1933 in Flint Twp., to Thomas Earle and Lela Elizabeth (Tallman) Morrish. He married Delores Claudia Hall on Jan 8, 1953. John served in the Korean War with Heavy Tank Co. 196th 2nd Regiment Tank Command from 1951 to 1955 serving in Alaska and Germany. John retired from Earl C. Smith Freight, Inc. in 1990 driving delivery semi-trucks. He was a member of Teamster Local 332 and American Legion Post 225. Surviving are his wife Delores; Children: John (Roberta) Morrish of Clio, Rhet (Wanda) Morrish of Millington, Thomas (Linda) Morrish of Clio, Matt (friend Anne) Morrish of Lakeland, FL., Kim (Robert) Leach of Lapeer, Claudia (Matthew) Tody of Davison, Alicia (Michael) Hall of Burton; Grandchildren:23 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; Brothers and sisters: twin sister Jean (friend Jim) Cook of Flushing, Janet (Larry) Smith of White Lake, Raymond (Trudy) Morrish of Westland; Brother-in-law: Dale Wright of Auburn, WA. and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Harvey, a great grandson Alex Morrish, 2 brothers; Thomas and Wayne and 2 sisters; Betty Kilkain and Frances Wright
