JOHN J. LAWRENCE, age 66 of Otter Lake, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at McLaren Lapeer. Cremation has taken place service to be held at later date. John was born on February 12,
1947, in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan to Robert and Alice (Trombley) Lawrence. John married Barbara Gross on July 7, 1994 in Otter Lake Mi. He worked for GM for 34 years. John was a member of the Vassar Eagles Aerie #2380, and the Lapeer Moose Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his garage, taking trips, and spending time with his grandkids and family. Surviving is his wife, Barb; children: Pete, Tammy, Carl, and Michael; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandsons; Stepmother Pat; brothers Bob, Ted and special friends Gene Erbe and Jerry Dodd, along with several nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Alice Lawrence.
