John Egan

John Egan, age 65 of Otisville, died on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at his residence. A private graveside service has taken place at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.

John was born in Flint on April 18, 1958 to John A. and Joyce Egan. He retired from General Motors after 31.7 years. John could fix anything and he loved working on cars. He especially loved spending time with his family.

John is survived by his wife, Tonya L. Egan; first wife, Mary Duehring; children: Nicole (James) Russell of Lake Orion, Edmond (Sara) Egan of Carrollton, TX, Mark (Vanessa) Egan of Otisville, Joshua (Micky) Egan of Davison, Zachary (Stephanie) Fifield of Lapeer, Kelsey Fifield-Priest of Otisville, Karry Priest of Lapeer, and Izzy (Adam) Alward of Birch Run; grandchildren: Jace, Jacob, Eli, Caylee, Evan, Anna, Atlas, Ava, Ethan, Hailey, Ella, Maisyn, Logan, Karry, Kolt, Levi, and baby Alward due September 2024; siblings: Maureen (Joe) Kline, Paul (Kathy) Egan, Shannon Campbell, and Tim Egan; brothers and sisters in-law: Douglas (Nicki) Mitchell, Beth (Shane) Petitt, Charles W. Wren, II, and David (Jenelle) Wren; father- in-law, Charles W. Wren, I; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Patrick Egan; infant sister, Kathleen; niece, Kathy Butterfield; and mother-in-law, E. Kay Wren.
