Jerome "Jerry" Nikle

JEROME "JERRY" NIKLE, age 86 of Flint, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 11AM-2PM and 6-8PM. Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army. Jerry was born in Grand Forks, ND on March 20, 1931 and served in the US Army. He was a member of the UAW 659 and enjoyed "junking," selling candy, and collecting pop bottles. Jerry could fix anything and everything and was loved by everyone. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; children: Debbie, Cindy Duncan, Todd Neph, Lynette (Roger) Bruff, Chad Nikle, Brad Nikle, Chris (Andrea) Nikle, and Nicole (Jacquese) Smart Nikle; grandchildren: Aaron, Sr., Casey, Joseph, Taylor, Cameron, Austin, Marshaya, Abbegayle, Peyton, Isaiah, Devin, and Aysia; great-grandchildren: Aaron, Jr., Lydell, Kymonie, Anthony, and Bentley; siblings: John and Elizabeth; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Mary, Henry, Michael, Eleanor, Josephine, Pete, Paul, Theresa, and Gladys; and son-in-law, Freland Duncan.
