Jean Lillian Irvine

JEAN LILLIAN IRVINE, age 88 of Flint, died Thursday, October 1, 2020 at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Victory Baptist Church, 2378 Center Rd., Burton, MI 48509, with Pastor Andy Auclair officiating. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 3-8PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church. Jean was born in Robingston, Maine on May 6, 1932 to Royden and Ethel Stanhope. On November 5, 1950 she married her high school sweetheart, Coleman S. Irvine. Jean enjoyed crocheting, sewing, word searches, puzzles, bird watching, and traveling. She loved her family, but most of all, she loved the Lord.  Jean is survived by her children: Michael (Sue) Irvine, Debra (Michael) Johnson, Bonney (Victor) Jenkins; brother, Paul (Joan) Stanhope; 12 grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Coleman; parents; brother, Earl Stanhope; and sister, Beatrice Stanhope.
