With his daughter Renee by his side, James Craig Manser, "Jim", peacefully left this world , Wednesday, July 16th, 2025, Genesee, MI to join his wife Marcella Wallin in the next. In a completely selfless act, Jim's ex-wife, Dawn Mondeau, housed, cared for, and kept Jim comfortable until his final breath. Cremation will take place and his ashes interred at Meauwataka Cemetery according to his wishes.

Jim was born October 15, 1953 at St. Joseph hospital in Flint, to James Edward Manser and Phyllis Jean Manser (Dittmar).

He attended Lakeville High School and graduated in 1971. He lived in Otisville, MI, worked as a plant manager for Kurtz Gravel Company before joining Mid-States Petroleum as a Supervisor. He later married the love of his life Marcella (Marcy) Wallin February 15th, 1992 and ran a Greenhouse with her and her family in Meauwataka, MI until retiring to Arizona in 2014. Jim returned to Cadillac, MI in 2021. He loved to hunt, ice-fish, garden, and spend time with family, especially his grandchildren Isabella and Ayden.

Jim had 18 lives, he was diagnosed with epilepsy at an early age, survived a 90ft. fall from a silo, survived mutiple heart attacks, multiple strokes, beat cancer twice, along with several bouts of pneumonia. Despite his health challenges Jim maintained his sense of humor and a positive attitude.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife Marcella, and sister Marcia Shaw (Manser). Left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss are his daughter, Renee (David) Yeoman, Sister, Linda Woodruff, Sister, Bethany (Brad) Long, grandchildren, Isabella and Ayden Yeoman, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will take place Wednesday, July 30th at Mumford Funeral Home in
Otisville, MI and will receive visitors from 6PM - 8PM.
