James L (Jim) Griswold

JAMES L.(Jim) GRISWOLD of Otisville age 71 died Tuesday, December19, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday December 23, 2006 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Otisville, Pastor David Hensler officiating. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Thursday, Friday 11 AM to 8PM at the Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville. In lieu of flowers please do something special for someone you know who has cancer or make a donation to St. Timothy Lutheran Church or to McLaren Hospice Visiting Nurses. Jim was born on February 12, 1935 the son of Delmer and Leila (Clemons) Griswold. He married Patricia A. Pickelman Davis on November 30, 1957 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Davison. Jim was a charter member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, and a member of U.A.W. Local #659. He retired from Chevrolet Manufacturing and A.C. West on May 1, 1991. Surviving are his wife Pat; daughter: Brenda Griswold Mihalko; son: Scott (Julie) Griswold; grandchildren: Sean, Sammy and Jake; brothers: Erwin (Barbara) Griswold and Larry (Jean) Griswold; uncle and aunt: Roy (Dorothy) Griswold; several nieces and nephews; Dick and Maggie Carpenter and many other friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Larry Griswold. The Griswold family wants to thank all who have prayed for his family for the past 6 ½ years.
