James R. Coleman

JAMES R. COLEMAN, age 58 of Burt, died Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Henry Ford Hospital. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. Jim was born in Saginaw, Michigan on September 3, 1962 to Donald and Lorraine (Morse) Coleman . He was a truck driver for Penske for the last 17 years at ACC in Flint and was a proud member of UAW Local 659. Many of his co-workers were close friends. Jim enjoyed horses and going horseback riding. He loved living in the country and spending time with his family and friends. He also loved spoiling his grandchildren and being "Papa." He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his loving and caring ways. Jim is survived by his wife of 4 1/2 years, Teresa; daughters: Jamie R. (Michael) Crosson and Haileigh M. (James) Gagliardo; step-daughters: Teri L. (Brandy) Claar and Kathleen A. Harrell; grandchildren: Brookelyn, Kolten, Tenley, Caleb, Easton, Riley, and Lacey; step-grandchildren: Brinlee and Bryson; sister, Diane (Tom) Laude; nieces and nephews: Shannon (Troy) Bonadurer, Stacy ( Jack) Reed, and Matthew (Dawn) Laude; and many great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald G. Coleman, Jr.
