Irene Carpenter

IRENE CARPENTER, age 85 of Otisville, died Monday, May 6, 2019 at Ascension Genesys. Her memorial service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 1PM until the time of her service. Irene was born on January 27, 1934 to Gale and Gladys Sweet. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, making candy, and going to church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs. Irene was a very strong-willed person and she would take on any task that needed to be done. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Keyes; grandchildren: Adam, Johnny, Meagan, Lindsay, Joe, Marjorie, Matthew, Jennifer, and Justin; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Judy Edwards. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Johnny; children: Randy and Patty; siblings: Gale, Wayne, and Juanita; and her parents.
