Ida S. Buckner

Ida S. Buckner, age 87 of Clio, died on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday, December 11, 2023 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 3-8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to West Forest United Methodist Church. Cremation will follow the service and interment of ashes will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.

Ida was born in Detroit on July 27, 1936 to Joseph and Elizabeth Weber. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed crafting.

Ida is survived by her husband, Carl Buckner; children: Richard (Alina) Buckner and Kara (Jim) Koselansky; grandchildren: Olivia, Andy, Dema, Sophia, Nika, and Carl, III; great grandchildren: Noah and Isabelle; and siblings: Janette, Gerry, and Helen (Ken). She was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine; sister-in-law, Maryann; and brother-in-law, Paul.
