HOWARD ALAN HARGER, Jr., age 72 of Columbiaville, died Friday, February 21, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Rev. Brant Engel officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbiaville. Visitation will take place from 3-8PM on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the funeral home. Howard Alan Harger, Jr. was the son of Howard, Sr. and Francis Harger. He was married to Harriet Moore-Moran on October 13, 1990. He enjoyed farming, restoring tractors, playing dominoes, and hunting. Surviving is his wife, Harriet; children: David, Ruth Ann (Cory) Estes, Bonnie Harger, Robin Stachel, Bonnie (Brant) Engel, and Shaun Moran; grandchildren: Heather, Erin, Joshua (Brandi), Courtney, Lacy, Sara, Jordan, Kayla, Matthew, Tyler, Nolan, Collin, Jacob, Madison and Logan; great-grandchildren: Addison, Khayden, Amelia, Gaelen, Addie, Luke and Chase; brothers and sisters: Larry, Karen (Paul), Vickey, Nancy (Ken) and Sharon; brother and sister-in-laws: Connie, Jackie (Kenneth), Sue (Bob), Leroy, Dennis, and Lou; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob; sister-in-law, Judy; and brother-in-law, Michael.
