Homer (Red) Russell Toman

Homer (Red) Russell Toman, age 87 of Otisville, died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Brian's House. Funeral services will be held at 12PM Monday, January 23, 2012 at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, Mr. Gerald Mumford, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 11 AM-7PM and Monday from 10AM until time of service. Cremation will take place after the funeral service. Contributions may be made to Disabled Vets. Red was born on August 21, 1924 in Flint and was raised in Yuma, MI. He married Ialene (Norton) Toman on September 8, 1951. They were married and lived in Otisville for over 60 years. Red was a proud WWII POW. Surviving is his wife, Ialene; children: Edwin (Ann) Toman of Otter Lake and Ialene (Gary) Mannor of Otisville; 8 grandchildren: Jennie, Russell, Bradley, Trevor, Daphne, Katie, Joseph and Jonathon; and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 2 sons: Russell A. Toman and Russell Kevin Toman; first wife, Ruby J. Toman; and 3 siblings: Boyd, Floyd and Charlotte.
