Helen R. Wentz

HELEN R. WENTZ age 86, a resident of Otisville since 1955 died Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at her residence. Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, March 17, 2006 at Hudson Funeral Service, Inc., Otisville, Rev. Jim James officiating with burial in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3-8PM and Thursday from noon-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Otisville United Methodist Church. Helen was born in Hollidaysburg, PA on Dec 9, 1919 daughter of Landus and Harriett Rinier. She married Melvin Wentz in August 13, 1937. Helen worked for LakeVille Schools from 1966-1983 when she retired. Helen was an active Member of the Otisville United Methodist Church, Nourmahal Chapter of OES #282, she enjoyed shopping and working in her mother's flower shop. Helen visited her mother frequently in PA until her mother's death in 1988. Surviving is son: Greg and Barbara Wentz of Grand Blanc
Brother-in-Law: Gene Wentz of Virginia; Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin in 2000, her parents, daughter Carole Trout in 2005, 2 brothers Kenneth Rinier and Landus Rinier Jr. and a sister Jean.
