Helen L Hourtienne

HELEN L. HOURTIENNE, age 85 of Millington, died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at McLaren-Lapeer. Her funeral service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Thetford Township Cemetery. The family will be receiving visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 5-8PM and on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from noon until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Helen was born on September 10, 1929 to Buster and Hazel Fisher. She enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. Helen loved spending time with her family. Surviving are her children: Larry (Dee) Hourtienne and Glenna (Lynn) Wright; grandchildren: Lindsay (Dan) Gibbons, Casey (Cathy) Hourtienne, McKensay (Jeramy) Heinonen, Brady (Jacqueline) Hourtienne, Landry (Tristen) Hourtienne, and Craig (fiancée, April) Wright; great-grandchildren: Tommy, Trenton, Teagan, Ava and Willow; brother, Jim (Nancy) Fisher; sisters: Carol Themm and Lois Monroe; and special cousin, Mary Jane Kelly. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Crystal; brother, Henry Fisher; and her parents.
