Helen Berridge

HELEN BERRIDGE, age 88 of Otter Lake, died Saturday, July 20, 2013. Her funeral service will be held at 1PM Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Mumford – Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Otter Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 2-8PM at the funeral home. Helen was born in Otter Lake, MI to George and Daisy Berridge on April 29, 1925. She was a teacher and taught at Silverwood, Schott, Spring Hill, and retired from Millington Schools. Helen enjoyed sports of all kinds and collecting coins. She loved her horses and working on the family farm. She was a past secretary for the Arabian Horse Association and was a member of the Eastern Michigan Arabian Association. Surviving is her brother, James (Sue) Berridge; sisters: Barbara (James) Rude and Georgia (Steve) Stadler; nieces and nephews: Dave (Kathy) Rude, Diane (Jim) MacKay, Lisa (Terrell) Bach, Mark (Julie) Rude, Mike (Joy) Folsom, Holly Berridge, and Britt Berridge. She was preceded in death by her parents.
