HEATHER M. ELWOOD, age 32 of Lapeer, died Monday, May 15, 2017. Her funeral service will be held at 12PM on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, Otisville. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from Noon until 8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Heather was born on September 6, 1984 to Roger and Tersa Elwood. She enjoyed bonfires, working in the yard, gardening, fishing, puzzles, rummage sales, music, and spending time with her family. Heather is survived by her fiancé, Daryl Meeks; children: Darrin and Emilee; parents, Roger and Tersa Elwood ; grandparents: Nancy (Royce) Elwood-Walters and Don Buckley; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Harvey Elwood and Sharalyn Buckley.
