HASSIE LEE SPRUILL, age 84 of Millington, died Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Brian's House.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 5PM at Hudson Funeral Service, Inc. Rev. Leroy Cole officiating Visitation will be Saturday from 5PM-8PM and Sunday from 10AM-Noon and 2PM-7PM.
Burial will take place at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly on Tuesday, July 12 at 10:00AM. Contributions may be made to Brian's House. Hassie was born on October 4, 1926 to George and Irene (Davidson) Green. She married Eugene Spruill on September 8, 1946.
Hassie worked for the Department of Navy under Admiral Nemitz during World War II.
She enjoyed crafting, baking for the holidays, and going to church. Surviving is her husband, Eugene; Daughter: Donna (Raymond) Andrews; Grandchildren: Jason, Wesley (Cindy), and Travis Andrews; Great Grandchildren: Dustin Rayner and Alexis Andrews; and Sisters: Betty Jo Mitchell and Mary Rosenzweig. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and granddaughter: Eugenia Andrews Delasko.
